Position: Inside Sales Engineer-Estimator

Division: Air-side / Wet-side HVAC

Job Description & Duties:

• Job takeoff and bid preparation
• Equipment and accessory pricing
• Work with Project Manager on job hand-off, submittals and IOM when needed.
• Bid list management, bid exchanges job review, prior approvals, project file management
• Work with S. Conley Sales staff and vendors to learn software and platform needed to complete work.
• Other duties as assigned

Role:

You will be part of our team based in Bozeman, with responsibility for estimating materials for HVAC equipment in the territory of MT and WY. You will play a significant role in the success of the team. The estimating role is the backbone to assist our partnering contractors with their equipment needs throughout the construction phase. This position involves interfacing primarily with, our vendor partners, coordinating with our Project Managers, working with mechanical contractors, as well as close coordination with other support staff throughout S. Conley Sales Inc. This role will entail the management of multiple concurrent projects at the same time. The goal across our company is to strive every day to bring our best, to understand what the customer needs, understand if we can deliver it, and then be the best at providing it.

Qualifications:

• Background in mechanical systems or construction. HVAC preferred but not required.
• Proficient with standard computer software and ability to learn manufacturer-specific software programs.
• Hungry, Humble, Smart

Education:

• High School (Required)

Compensation/ hours: - Full Time Position

• Base Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year DOE
• + Performance Bonus Comp Plan
• + Substantial Benefits Package
• + Regular Business Hours are typically 8am to 5pm including a lunch break. Early out option on Fridays. Expectations are that hours will shift to meet position objectives and client needs.
• Health, HSA, and dental insurance benefits begin immediately upon hire; additional benefits (matching 401K, Paid Time off) begin after 6 months on the job.
